RESPEC Webinar
Beneath the Salton Sea: The Landscape, the Heat, and the Working Geothermal Field
The Salton Sea hosts one of the most established high-temperature geothermal systems in North America. The second in RESPEC's series of geothermal webinars, this presentation traces how the landscape and water history of the basin shaped where and how geothermal development has occurred over the past 4 decades.
We’ll look at the reservoir’s geologic setting, production history, and changing shoreline conditions, as well as what those changes mean for planning wells, infrastructure, and permitting today. Drawing on long-term field experience, our team will share a practical, on-the-ground perspective on working in a geothermal system that is technically challenging and continually evolving at the surface.

RESPEC Webinar
Is Drilling Cost Killing Your Geothermal Project’s ROI?
For most geothermal projects, drilling accounts for 30–50% of total capital—a massive initial barrier. This single line item often determines whether a project is viable or not. In the first of a series of geothermal webinars, RESPEC's drilling specialists presented a clear methodology for transforming drilling operations, boosting performance, and securing greater investment.
